❋API

American professionals in interfaith & WELLBEING

What to Expect

At the heart of American Professionals in Interfaith & Wellbeing (API) is a recognition that human wellbeing is shaped as much by connection and understanding as by individual achievement. Founded by professionals whose work spans advanced neuroscience and reconciliation, API was born from a desire to create a new kind of connection. One that moves beyond conventional interfaith dialogue- inviting professionals to show up as they are, remain grounded, and engage authentically with people who happen to have different faith backgrounds. Faith informs identity, but shared human experience guides the work

❋ Intentional Structure

We are professionals, we are Americans, and we come from various faith backgrounds. In a world where expertise is often drowned out by misinformation, we offer an intentional space to think, reflect, and learn together. Through connection and shared insight, we leverage our knowledge and experiences to counter division, rebuild trust, and strengthen the fabric of American life.

❋ Collaborative Silent-Solidarity

In moments of tragedy affecting any faith community, we choose to show up first in quiet solidarity. When reactions and violence are loud and divided, we honor the American tradition of pausing together in silence and holding space for our shared humanity. As professionals in interfaith and wellbeing, we value showing up.

❋ Expert Facilitation of Conversations

Led by seasoned thought-leaders with deep expertise in law and medicine, API’s community conversations are insightful, empowering, and thoughtfully attuned to the nuances of today’s complex world.

❋ A Membership Based Networking Space

API will soon launch a membership-based networking space designed to bring together professionals- accountants, dentists, physicians, surgeons, lawyers, and more, who are committed to creating environments where clients, patients, staff feel respected, valued, and safe, regardless of their faith or background.

our mission and vision

American Professionals in Interfaith & Wellbeing is forming as a Circle of leaders across medicine, law, business, education, and public service who are committed to advancing human wellbeing through both professional excellence and interfaith understanding. We believe that faith, while deeply personal, can also be a powerful force for connection, compassion, and collective healing when engaged with humility and openness.

Our members work at the frontlines of complexity- caring for patients, resolving conflict, shaping systems, and guiding communities. What unites us is a shared conviction that the challenges of our time cannot be addressed from a single perspective.

By fostering meaningful dialogue across faith traditions and professional disciplines, we create space for deeper understanding, ethical leadership, and more holistic approaches to wellbeing.

We exist to build bridges between science and spirituality, expertise and empathy, difference and shared humanity.

Uniting professional excellence with interfaith understanding for human wellbeing.
