What to Expect

American Professionals in Interfaith was founded by a neurosurgeon and reconciliation expert, WHO recognizeD that faith is a central source of identity, grounding, and peace for many, yet it can also be a point of tension in a divided world.

Drawing on insights from neuroscience, we understand that conflict often triggers defensive reactions, making dialogue difficult. True growth, however, comes from regulating our responses, listening with intention, and engaging others with empathy. At our core, we are committed to reconciliation: honoring the humanity in every person, fostering understanding, and nurturing connections that bridge divides while respecting the depth of faith and identity.

We are professionals, we are Americans, and we come from various faith backgrounds. In a world where expertise is often drowned out by misinformation, we offer an intentional space to think, reflect, and act together. Through connection and shared insight, we leverage our knowledge and experiences to counter division, rebuild trust, and strengthen the fabric of American life.

As professionals, we recognize the responsibility to respond not with reaction, but with reflection. When reactions and violence are loud and divided, we honor the American tradition of pausing together in silence and holding space for our shared humanity.

  • Sign up and pay all required fees to reserve your spot. If plans change, you can cancel up to 14 days before the retreat start to receive a 50% refund.

  • We'd recommend booking your transportation to and from the event as soon as possible, to ensure you can arrive without any complications or delays.
